I still have doubts about the Bomer ... I've been thinking lately, and may prefer a more experienced actor, older, "worn by the fight of daily life." Jason Statham may be a good choice. (I'll make a poster with him)
This poster is what I like least. I tried to let it look like concept art of director David Slade. Body of The Punisher War Zone TDK Batman's arms some parts of the uniform of the x-men first class, and the head is of action figure (I think).
the font I told you in another comment.
Thanks for your opinion. And one more time, sorry for my English!
oh. forgot about Stick. well, being an "eastwood belongs behind the camera" fan (directing, not acting), I'd have to say I disagree. First of all, in the comics, Stick was asian. The one time we've seen Stick in a live action movie, well... Terence Stamp, while a GREAT actor, is NOT asian. My money would have to go to Soon Tek Oh or maybe Robin Shou or Jackie Chan or even Jet Li. They're all aging but still capable enough. Hell, we've seen Jackie Chan in "old fart make-up" at least once before, in the movie The Forbidden Kingdom.
I have a hard time believing in Eastwood as an actor... the one movie I liked him in was Space Cowboys, and he directed that. Nice work on the poster, but I'd have found a "better" Stick. Oh, and... I always hate it when they advertise that someone's in a movie just to get you to watch it and it turns out it's little more than a cameo. 2 examples: Drew Barrymore dies in the first 10 minutes of Scream (no big loss, there, really, but she WAS pictured on the cover and given top-billing) and Steven Seagal dies in Executive Decision after only a few short scenes. Just food for thought.
Well, I know that the Stick is asian, but I think you do not need blindly follow the comics. You can have variations and adaptations, to the best of the movie. (just like the Kingpin of the first movie)
Eastwood is a enshrined actor. He has my admiration, a mentor to the younger generation, which I think would be perfect also as the mentor of the daredevil.
And even though he only appears for 10 minutes, I would pay and would love to see an actor of this magnitude in the daredevil's movie.
Thanks for your opinion. and sorry for my English ! hehe
I know it's only an opinion and I know I tend to go against the flow. But there are two reasons I remember actors by name... either they really impress me, or they're just truly awful. Clint Eastwood is Dirty Harry. That's it. It's what made him famous as an actor and he can't seem to leave that behind him. It's what people remember him for. It happens all the time. So maybe I'm not saying he's a horrible actor... maybe I'm just saying he's remembered for the wrong reasons. As a mentor? I wouldn't go that far. There haven't been any other Dirty Harry's after all.
